All Remaining 2020 Events are now Virtual

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, all remaining 2020 events have now been converted into Virtual events, within our custom Virtual Environment. Registration for these events is running well over 50% above historic numbers. We have been working with our Pharma hosts on building a custom Virtual Environment since April. The environment has features of most of the top-end Virtual environments available today but has unique capabilities that we feel will provide Exhibitors and Attendees with unparalleled interaction.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to participate in a special year of events that has more opportunities than ever to find your targeted leads.

Free Webinars and Virtual Conference

To keep you busy during the Covid-19 stay-at-home period, we have added free Pharma 4.0 BioProcessing webinars and a free Virtual Conference (Global Cannabis Research Summit). Both on-site events have been moved to August at NJHA.

BMS R&D Symposium 2019 is now OPEN for registration

The BMS R&D Symposium is back after a one year hiatus (for exhibitors – it was held on campus with no exhibitors). The event has now moved to the Ocean Place Resort, where we have held many of our events over the years. Note that this location has fewer Booth spaces than the Garden State Exhibit Center, so we expect to run out of Booth space earlier than ever.

Watch for more events and Marketing Opportunities coming up, including a new event from Novartis.

Don’t forget about our public events – Companion Diagnostics Forum, Deep Sequencing Forum and Pharma 4.0 Manufacturing Forum. These are great multi-company opportunities that are very affordable.

Sanofi North America Analytical 2019 is now OPEN for Registration

The Sanofi North America Analytical Technology Symposium will add Exhibitors for the first time – Sponsor/Exhibitor registration is now open.  If you go to PittCon or EAS and sell to Sanofi, this show should be of interest to you.

New Events Available for 2019

A number of new and returning events have now been posted including those below.  The BMS R&D Symposium, one of our biggest and longest running events, is returning as an Exhibitor offering after a one year gap.   Sanofi’s Analytical Symposium is a new Analytical focused offering, with Sanofi Pasteur’s EMEA BioProcessing event being a broader European version of last year’s Toronto event.

Merck Technology Symposium 2019 is now OPEN for registration.

Merck Technology Symposium 2019 is now OPEN for registration.  The 23rd Annual Merck Technology Symposium provides a networking forum for nearly 1000 Merck scientists, with talks and posters, supplemented by a supplier trade show with over 70 exhibitors.

The meeting will be organized around several tracks illustrating the various ways that technologies are facilitating scientific decision making at Merck, from R&D through Clinical.   There is a mix of open format talks (a combination of cleared Merck lectures and posters from Merck scientists, as well as content from vendors and other external collaboration partners) as well as proprietary lectures and posters, with talks attendance limited to Merck employees.

Merck SUN 2019 Open for Registration

Merck SUN 2019 is now open for registration.  The 8th annual Merck Single Use Manufacturing Symposium (SUN) will be attended by 300 Merck scientists from across Merck’s global Single Use community. Showcase your company’s new technologies and applications that will enhance the manufacturing process.   Focus areas last year were Single Use Best Practice, Next Generation Manufacturing, Progress towards SU Standardization, SU supporting Sustainability.

Merck Technology Symposium August Update

UPDATED August 16th with Merck Archival information.  Merck attendee registration this year is already up 20% to 1000 Attendees – we expect to close Merck registration shortly.    We were also able to make available more open talks than ever for this event.  Remember that we have added quite a number of IT type activities at the event and we are looking for more IT type Exhibitors, particularly in Digital Health; Big Data, Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Real World Data.

Here are details of some new activities at the event.  We are just opening up submissions for the Innovation Workshop.

Innovation Workshop – Submissions Requested from Exhibitors and Sponsors

We have an Innovation Workshop using Design Thinking on Day 2.   This workshop will illustrate design thinking methodology for creative problem solving that can be adapted to any problem. It is a powerful methodology to rapidly accelerate the ability to identify solutions to problems, put ideas into action via experimentation and come to rapid decisions.

The workshop will involve working through this methodology together solving a problem.

This is where you come in!

You have the opportunity to identify a problem and articulate this in a succinct problem statement and submit it. We will choose one of these problem statements to work through at the Design Thinking workshop. It will be a dynamic event and we hope to see you there.  Merck is also sending a request for submissions internally.

Deadline for submission is August 23, 2018.

INNOVATION WORKSHOP SUBMISSIONS

Science as Art Exhibit

Located in Hallway between Main Lobby and Conference Area.

Science and art share many commonalities including creativity, discovery, imagination and experimentation. Inspired by previous MRL Art of Science exhibitions and more recently the Translational Biomarkers employee exhibition calendars, new creative images and works from across the Merck organization are on display at this year’s Technology Symposium, including research-inspired visual imagery and three dimensional design related in some way to research completed or ongoing at Merck

MEDx: TED-style talks

   Day 1: 4:15 PM – 5:30 PM in Atlantic I/II

This year, the Merck Technology Symposium will hold a session of TED-style talks, called MEDx, to provide a novel opportunity for our colleagues to share innovative ideas related to our work and to encourage an open and collaborative environment between attendees/colleagues. The emphasis will be placed on finding talks with not only interesting insights and discoveries but also messages and learnings that can be internalized and applied to our next day behind our desk, at a meeting, or at the bench. All ideas are welcome for submission.

This inaugural MEDx session establishes a different kind of format for communication with TED-style talks – engaging with the audience in ways that our more formal scientific platforms aren’t able to achieve. Similar to TED talks, MEDx presentations are delivered to create a personal connection with the audience, helping the audience to better apply take home messages and learnings to their own everyday life.

‘From the Archives’ Exhibit

Located in Hallway between Main Lobby and Conference Area.

With more than 4,100 linear feet of material and over 78,000 digital assets, the Merck Archives covers over 125 years of rich history and more than 20 legacy companies. The Merck Archival Services Team supports more than 4,000 research requests per year from Merck employees and external researchers, including documentary filmmakers, PBS, university libraries and more. The artifact table display provided by the Merck Archival Services Team will allow you to connect with Merck’s history of innovation and its mission to save and improve lives.
